FRED BOSINGER TRIBUTE

The Heaven's Gate team wishes to express our tremendous gratitude to Fred Bosinger for his tremendous contribution to our lives.  Fred was a true leader and father to the ski industry in Western Canada. He had an incredible passion for the sport of skiing and creating environments for bringing the family together to bond and recreate.  Fred was an incredible inspiration to the Heaven's Gate team and helped formulate the multigenerational vision of Heaven's Gate.

Thank you Fred for your mentorship, friendship and love over the years.  Fred was truly an example of a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.  His success didn't come at the expense of family but rather because of his incredible love and devotion to his family.  Fred and Margaret were also a close friend to Paul and Linda Mathews of Ecosign and Heiko and Linda Socher of Fernie.

Love and prayers will continue to Fred's beloved family from Craig MacLeod on behalf of the Heaven's Gate team.

Tribute from Paul Mathews

Today we honor a Giant of a Swiss Man who has blessed our mountains in British Columbia for over 5 decades. Linda and I are honored to have worked with Fred and Margaret for over 4 decades at Red Mountain, Sunshine Village and Fernie. We had the pleasure of skiing with Fred last March at Panorama. What a tremendous skier and athlete with a heart larger than his size. Fred has been the single greatest contributor to ski racing in Western Canada and we all owe a debt of gratitude for that.

Rest In Peace Fred.
